Our Evening Lecture Series for summer returns with talks every Wednesday for July and August in the AV Theatre at Connemara National Park. We commence the series with a talk by former Connemara National Park Guide Brian Hughes who is currently working with the Curlew Conservation Programme. Brian’s work with the programme is based around Mayo and Roscommon and he will provide an insight into the work that is being undertaken and the plans for the future. He will also share survey results from 2015 to 2021 and his illustrated talk will contain some footage of Curlew chicks and distribution maps.
